Instant Karma - Book Review

Marissa Meyer strikes again. I finished Instant Karma about two minutes ago and... aaaaaah.
QQQUUUIIINNNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!
Apart from Quint, JJJUUUDDDEEEEEEE!!!!!! (freaks out because Folk Of The Air)
And also, Pru had some great character development! I mean, I kinda hated her at the beginning of the book. But I think that Quint transformed her into a really nice person.
As you can see, I love Quint. Quint Quint Quint Quint. Now I have an amazing Q name for scattergories.
Chapter Fourty-Two made me feel some things (I mean, of course, it's forty-two). My heart was beating so fast and I was, like, freaking out. A lot. Marissa Meyer did a great job of creating a mood there. Or whatever those analysis people call it.
I am definitely going to buy this for A. She will like it. I hope. If she doesn't, then that would be awkward. And surprising. It's a very A book. A, if you see this, DON'T BUY THE BOOK BEFORE I DO BECAUSE I WANT TO BUY IT FOR YOU. Oooh that rhymed.
Anyway, I think I need to get more into this genre of books, because I always end up really liking these type of books! Instant Karma had a cool vibe, like with Fortuna Beach and everything. I dunno. But it was kinda one of those books that I was like, "ok, let's read this standalone after recovering from a series". I read this book because I had just finished The Lunar Chronicles, also by Marissa Meyer. I thought it'd be a fun book to read, after reading what I had just read. *starts fangirling over The Lunar Chronicles and then starts crying over The Lunar Chronicles*.
The characters in Instant Karma are (mostly -- I mean, antagonists exist) loveable, and I like the sense of community that is in the book, with the small town and stuff... I dunno.

Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer, 12+*

*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for potentially upsetting and sad scenes/themes, a couple sexual references and weird kissing stuff.
