Looking For Alaska - Book Review

Two days. Two days -- less, even -- is how long it took me to read it. And all of those emotions, crammed into less than two days, are starting to make me cry.
Yep. I literally just finished Looking For Alaska by John Green. Yep. John Green. John Green, John Green, John Green, John Green, John Green. JOHN GREEN.
I was not expecting that to happen. Within hours, she was alive, then dead, then alive, then dead, dead, dead, dead. Dead.
Now I get what all of the "hype" is about. Like John Green's other novels (or at least, the ones I've read) Looking For Alaska just twists the reader's heart. It provides a sense of mystery that still leaves the readers questioning things after they've finished the book. When I started the book, I wanted to know, what is the before? What is the after? What is the thing that happens, something so big that it has a "before" and an "after"?
The characters are all so unique, and Alaska herself honestly introduced me to a new type of person. She was so unique...

Looking For Alaska by John Green, 14+*

*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for potentially upsetting and sad scenes/themes, weird kissing stuff (and worse), sexual references, swearing and underage smoking/drinking etc.
