WELL. That was not what I was expecting. Not that I knew what I was expecting. The end wasn't what I was expecting. I dunno. But I like it. I like Tahereh Mafi's writing style in this.
Again, it only took less than two days to read this book. Which is good because, if you include the novellas (I have always wondered what the correct plural of "novella" is...) this is a pretty long book series. Ahh I feel fake because I haven't read it all yet but I'm stating facts about it.
Anyway. Adaaammmmmmm.
But also... Adammm? I have read so many books that I am kinda expecting Adam to betray Juliette. Which is sad, because they really seem to love each other.
Also, and don't murder me, I honestly kinda like Warner...?
For some reason, I was not expecting to read this in only two days. I think I had read somewhere that it was a slow start to the series (as in, the whole book) but nope. Nope not at all. But, since there are a lot more books in this series after #1, I'm deeply wondering (is that a phrase?) where they will end up next. Someone has to give me $1000 if they end up somewhere outside of Earth. And I also am excited for the moment when I find the connection between the eyes on the covers and the story. Maybe it's because of Adam's eyes (oh I love his eyes)? I haven't seen all the book covers yet, so hmmm. I'm gonna go search them up after I post this.
Anyway, I'm curious about what the next book, the novella Destroy Me, is about. Yeah, to any people out there who are reading this and have read the series (coz I have sooo many fans), this is the way I'm reading it. Deal with it, because I got this reading order off of a rather passionate-sounding comment on YouTube.
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, 13+*
*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for weird kissing stuff (and worse), sexual references, a bit of violence and swearing.
