So. A couple of days ago, my friend, E, did something amazing. Though I can't post about what it was, I just wanted the whole internet (in reality, about five people, max, actually know and care about this blog) to know she's pretty amazing.
I actually don't know if E has actually seen this blog, but the other day I typed the URL into her laptop, so hopefully she sees that.
Also, I am aware that I have multiple friends that I could call "E". For privacy reasons (that sounds so formal), I am not going to use my friends' real names on a blog that is free for anyone on the internet to see. And this is probably going to get confusing when I write about another friend whose name starts with the same letter as a friend I've written about. But, yeah, I think E knows what she did, and if she ever sees this post, let's hope she knows I'm talking about her. And to all my other "E" friends, you're also amazing!
Ok, so, E. I'm used to being invalidated. I wasn't expecting the reaction you gave me. I was expecting the worst, and I was expecting regret. Not because of you, of course, but because of so many other people... or maybe just one person multiple times. Yeah, that one.
But, that 5-10 minutes where we were talking was the best. I was so happy. I couldn't stop smiling, even hours after we talked. You gave me hope again, and you also gave me some pretty good hugs. I am so glad that it was you who I got to experience that with. Anddd anyone else reading this is probably so confused. Sorry about that.
Anyway. Thank you, E. Peggy loves you. I do too.
