Wow, it's great to be reading a high fantasy series with a really unique world.
The Grishaverse is really unique. I like it. I mean, it's kinda hard for me to single out what exactly I like about books, but this one is definitely at least half because of the world.
I also like the plot. Like, it's not revolutionary, but it is creative. I just like the world a lot.
I also like the characters, and how morally grey lots of them are.
So yeah. I definitely am excited to continue the story (I've already started Siege and Storm, it's pretty amazing). And, yep. I liked Shadow and Bone a lot. Good job, Leigh Bardugo.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, 13+*
*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for potentially upsetting themes, weird kissing stuff, violence and a tiny bit of swearing.
