Another novella. Warning for minor Red Queen and Steel Scars spoilers.
Steel Scars by Victoria Aveyard, 13+*
*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for potentially upsetting themes, and a tiny bit of gore/violence.
So this was from Farley's perspective and I really liked how much it added to her personality. When reading Red Queen I didn't really focus on her personality, but when reading Steel Scars I realised how much I had not focused on Farley. She is cool.
I think my favourite part of this novella was the fact that Shade was in it, and also because toward the end it overlapped with the beginning of Red Queen a bit. I like the different perspectives of one scene thing in books/serieses.
Also that one part when Farley was like "Where am I? What happened?" then Shade was like "Careful, you're turning into a philosopher." That was funny.
Um so yeah. It was good.
