An Abundance of Katherines - Book Review

So I decided to read this book because John Green. John Green is one of my favourite authors. He has written some soul-crushing books. We know this. We’ve known this for years. (Yeah that was an attempt of a reference to this song that’s stuck in my head). But I just feel like it wasn’t too much like John Green’s other books, you know? It just didn’t seem to have much of a plot. If I had to sum up An Abundance of Katherines in one word, the word would be “random”. It just didn’t seem to have any deeper meaning or anything, and most John Green books do.
Damn though, Colin was looking a lot like King Henry VIII there. I know that Dear Henry at least allowed some variety in spelling, but both Colin and Henry sure do have a thing for Katherines…
So yeah. If you’re looking for a lighthearted, fairly short book to read this might be something for you!

*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for slurs, sexual references and themes, low-level violence and swearing.
