And Then There Were None - Book Review

I really enjoyed this book! This is the first Agatha Christie book I've read but I will definitely be reading more of her books. It was really well written, creative and engaging.
So obviously this was a murder mystery book. I really like murder mystery books where you can't figure out who did it until they tell you, and this was definitely one of those books. Actually, when I got to the end I was really confused because I didn't realise there was another chapter thingy after the epilogue, so as I read the epilogue I was wondering if I was meant to have figured out who the murder was. But no haha, there was a plot twist and the book did reveal who the murderer was.
As I mentioned before, this book was very well written. It was good to read a less recently published book that was written in a way that didn't sound too old fashioned, if you know what I mean? And oh my gosh, the tension in this book was written so well. The characters were all like unreliable narrators which I always enjoy in books.
And Then There Were None was just a really cool idea for a book. The fact that it was based off a nursery rhyme was so cool (but like why was that a nursery rhyme? It was very dark...). In a way it felt like a really messed up reality show. That sounds so weird but it really was giving off that vibe.
So yeah I would very much recommend this book. It was really good.

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, 13+*

*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for lots of murder, violence, gore and potentially upsetting themes.

  1. I love Agatha Christie!!! I am so happy you have found some of her books. My favourite is Death on the Nile, but Murder on the Orient Express and A Murder is Announced are also very good.
