The Assassin's Blade - Book Review

This book/these novellas are amazing!!! At first, I wasn't so sure, and I thought that maybe I actually wasn't ready to commit to another big series. But I quickly became very invested in the novellas. It's weird to think that this is only the beginning and that these were just backstory.
I like the world, but most importantly, I like the characters. These novellas were (and I'm sure this entire series will be) packed with morally grey characters. I dunno about you but I really like morally grey characters.

THE ENDING THOUGH OH MY GODS (I already picked that up but feel kinda guilty for saying it because I associate it with Percy Jackson more than this, and I've only read PJO (I'm hoping to read the rest soon)) LIKE I ACCIDENTALLY READ A SPOILER ABOUT **THAT** THING BUT IT WAS STILL SUCH A SHOCK EVEN THOUGH I THINK THERE WAS A LOT OF FORESHADOWING TOO. BUT THE "My name is Celaena Sardothien, and I will not be afraid." GOT ME AAAAHH.
As you (imaginary blog readers) can see, I am very excited to continue this series.

*This age recommendation is only my opinion. Some younger people might feel comfortable reading this book, and some older people might not. That's fine, either way. Warning for potentially upsetting themes, weird kissing stuff (and worse), lots of violence, sexual references and alcohol use.
